Finishing second in the group might not actually be too bad you know, as things stand we will miss, Real, Barcelona and Bayern if we did lol.
We can't draw Barcelona in the last 16 because they are in the same group as us.

You're aim should always be to finish first but finishing second to Barca would be understandable

My brother told them they crushed Chelsea.

I missed Juve last night. I actually missed everything :D I always run into some problems when there's a football match, ffs.

I agree. Especially when it comes to Atletico, I'd never underestimate them, mostly due to their coach. They will always be tough to beat.
I saw the halftime show for the game and at 2-1 the pundits thought the score was unfair to Roma. They also had a lot of scoring opportunities that they squandered.

People here already written off both BVB and Atletico while it would not be any surprise if they both ended up in semis.
As Allegri said, one needs to just pass the group stage, the real game starts in the knockout. Obviously ATM would have rather won with Quarabag today but I can easily see them winning all the remaining games and finish top 2 in their group.

Dortmund and semis ? They've been an irrelevant club for the last 4 years and will surely be kicked out of the groups this year.

Atlético is better in comparison but looks like their cycle is coming to an end. If Roma don't manage to choke, Atlético will be kicked out as well.

Both are perennial selling clubs and their results and growth as a top club have been affected. Juventus are slowly moving along that dangerous path but fortunately for Juve, the league competition sucks so winning the league would almost mask any decline in Juve's growth as a top team.

We won't be able to survive at the top for long if we keep dismantling the squad and recycling the squad with new players year after year.

But why we can't keep hold of our key players is the problem our wage structure or our transfer budget is too low

Man, i wish we could play great attacking football like Dortmund :baus:
The problem is we are playing something, but it isn't exactly football right now. Our defense is leaking goals with ease, and our attack is dysfunctional.

well exactly, but we miss Bayern and Real too
Real are going to finish top of their group.

Juve board are more interested in plusvalenza these days. Stadium revenue is maxed out. Commercial revenue growth is slow and pales in comparison to big teams. Seems player sales is their alternative way of increasing revenue and posting profits but it's come at the cost of degrading our team. Unfortunately people here are brainwashed and keep repeating like parrots about all that 'ask to leave' bull crap staged by the board when infact the main motive is plusvalenza. We more or less operate like Arsenal/Atlético these days. 100% another key player will be sold next summer for plusvalenza.

We have Jewish owners who only care about the business aspect; winning the CL is a dream they keep telling us, but as long as we're winning and dominating Serie A (which is probably gonna come to an end either this season or the next), they have their safety net and are lulling themselves into a false sense of security.

@Bianconero_Aus - Look at this thread. Tuzzers deminishing our club :touched:
And even with racist slurs :touched:

If the moaners from this forum ran this club, it would look something like this:

So. Are people finally getting off the Dortmund and Atletico hype train? Atletico have been inconsistent for quite some years now.
Many teams would be kill it to be as inconsistent as Atletico been past years. CL semis and finals, abuse and overcome most opponents not named Real Madrid?

Casually lining them up with Dortmund is a joke. But there is no denying Atletico lost bit of their strength past year (reached their peak and was in little downward spiral) , because they been trying to play more attacking /open, less rigid and the dirty hard working machine style, takes a toll on a team. Had to try to add different gear to their approach, but ut also lost tad bit of their killer upper hand and balance.

But their squad is more stacked with depth then even before, and these scruffy no win situation scenarios in games will be much easier for them to handle when they get Diego Costa. Will be a massive upgrade in jammy match winning capabilities for them. It an aspect Chelsea miss right now really, ugly wins that is forced in by him, even if I dislike the fucker.

Will you ever stop spreading this nonsense. Why you try so hard to oppose the reality.

I'm posting reality. You are the one opposing it. Last 3 years, our net spend has been less than ~20-30M. Our revenue numbers have been bloated up only by big sales and perhaps the trend will continue next year as well.
