Anyone who doubted UEFA is aspiring for Real-Farca final learned the lesson last night.

Refs were pathetic.
I think many people doubt that UEFA directors call referees before matches and tell them "I need that El Classico final, you get Real through no matter what!" Do you believe that?

Do you realize that is like 4x 5 minutes of time out situations? So that's extra 20 minutes of idle and wasted time per game?
Who needs 5 minutes to determine an offside or a foul? Most of the times you can watch the replay twice in 20 seconds if the technology is up to date. Its not like players protesting decisions dont take up time

that's a naive assumption; things like these can happen and probably will happen if allowed :

1. the entire team, coaches andn team officials rushes to the match officials demanding video
2. they are all going to watch that video from the ipad at the bench (because not all stadium has large screen, so I assume ipad or laptop or something will be the official tool, and yes I'd assume that teams will demand to be able to watch the video themselves! and that is logical assumption, right, because why shouldn't "the defendant" and "the accused" be prohibited from seeing the evidence that are being used to judge them? you don't want to be convicted based on someone else's sole judgment over a video evidence, right?)
3. they are all going to argue to the ref and other match officials, before and after seeing the video
4. they are all going to stall whatever happen next, casually walking slowly to get back into the game if things are in their favor

why do you guys think it'll over be 20 seconds? this ain't fifa/pes lol.

First they should just show yellow cards for swarming the referee, without exceptions. First few matches it would be lots of reds, but then it would normalize, then that saved time could be used for video evidence in offsides.

We better fucking win tonight, and win the whole thing this year. We aren't going to get a better opportunity. Madrid can't be that lucky in every game, and it would suck to see a mediocre coach like Zidane win back to back CL Titles. I loved him as a player, but he can fuck off as a coach.

Shoot yourself. Inter winning the CL was one of, if not, the most disgusting title win I've ever seen in football.
:agree: Treble :yuck: :inter:

I wanted Bayern to pulverize them. Seeing that fuckwit with stained teeth, along with that arrogant shitcunt Mourinho, Maturd-assi, the rat tailed sewer dwelling rodent, and all those other cunts celebrating made it one of the worst days in living memory.

I wasn't for VAR after we were on the receiving end of the bad call for Morata goal last year which was far more clear an onside than either of these goals were offside.

Please continue crying about UEFA fixing matches for the Spaniards with refs.

And yes. I will bitch immediately after poor referee decisions against Juve, but I certainly won't hold onto some whacked out conspiracy about UEFA for months afterwords

Anyways. I'm done. This argument is going nowhere.
What is this months talk. I wasnt even posting here regularly last year. Neither have i bitched about refs for months. I actually blame Evra for the Bayern game. 2 mins left and he thinks he is Messi or smth and loses the ball in dangerous position.

But yesterday 3 major decisions go in Reals favour. As a fan of football, this is not how i want the winner to be determined.

This year for sure these things start to add up with including Barca getting 2 dubious pens and somehow enough time (95 min last goal) to succeed in their comeback.

Even Atletico Madrid had a pen kick for a foul outside the box v Leicester.

Please dont say now that well Spain have most teams in competition. And same teams go far so inevitable it "looks" like they get calls. Barca-Psg tie was only first knockout round. Not latter stage.

I'm almost sure that statistics back up the fact that Barcelona and Real Madrid get the most favors from refs in the Champions League. Another example is Milan in Serie A.

But suggesting that those teams buy refs is ridiculous and looks pathetic.
Of course they don't buy refs. But man, do you remember any of Barcelona or Real Madrid in CL getting raped by a ref? I honestly don't remember.

I mean we all enjoy ref's human errors once in a while when it doesn't involve our teams because it gives us something to talk about but one can't deny that refs literally can't go against Barca and Real, it's probably the pressure and media and mentally most of them are not collinas but still..

Do UEFA wish for Real Madrid vs Barcelona final? Of course.

Is this rigged? I don't believe that but there are pressure on refs.

Technically what happened last night should turn out good for Juve tonight and ref has to be more careful.

Offside calls fair enough are hard to decide without replay assist but Vidal gets sent off for nothing and Casemiro doesnt get yellow for the penalty. If Casemiro hadnt had gotten a yellow card pretty sure ref had given him one. Dont like this selective decision making regarding pen fouls and yellow cards. I can understand unintentional hand ball cases but if ref thinks Casemiro has fouled Robben in the box then that is bookable offense. And Real down to 10 then.

Have you watched the France-Spain friendly recently where VAR was used? It was over in less than 20 sec.
