I have a good feeling too.

With this new formation we're applying some crazy pressing and defensive work overall.

Also we're creating lots of chances from all over the pitch. Our opponents don't know from where we will hit them. Boom, suddenly a goal or two and game-over.

I'm hopeful too, but I have this phobia that says we'll fuck it up again somehow.

I have a feeling we're going to reach the Final again. Most of the teams look beatable, as long as we don't bow under pressure as we did against Bayern last year reckon we'll go really far again.

I'm trying to look at the situation from a non biased standpoint:

We're a bit more vulnerable at the back than previous seasons and have a weaker midfield; the 4-2-3-1 is risky against some actually good teams instead of farmers from Crotone. On our day we can beat anyone but on form, Bayern, Barca and Real have a stronger squad than us while PSG and Atletico have a squad that is pretty much on par with us, but are questionable form-wise too.

If we are to reach the final I think we're gonna have to count on a little luck and hope to god we don't get injuries. It's doable though, the teams form and injuries will play a part.

I think we'll win CL. Atletico and PSG are not better than us. We're on a par with Madrid, Barca, and Bayern. Allegri can outsmart Ancelloti and Zidane while something seems off about Barca this season. Not to mention we're barely starting to put it into high gears after a slow start to the season.

Some of you are way overconfident. We have a decent chance, but we are definitely behind the likes of Barca, Bayern, and Real. There's a reason these three teams reach the latter stages every season.

Things change. Bayern have been anything but impressive this season and we already played on par with them last season. It's not overconfidence, some people just like to overrate other teams.

On paper other squads may look better than us but our guys seem to be getting adjusted to each other just at the right time. We'll be in the semis with the exact right balance of being gelled together but before we become predictable. As I saw Alan note earlier our new system is getting great performances out of even our more tired servants and most of our guys, while experienced, still have the hunger of wanting to win the CL trophy for the first time.

This is our year.

Our defence is great, our attack has improved and while our midfield has degenerated on paper, in terms of how the team works it's doing great. Allegri has to drop one of Pjanic, Khedira and Marchisio.

An interesting discussion topic is our CB selection in the CL.

Assuming this same formation and all CBs are fit, who does Allegri choose? He could swing our chances greatest in this area I think.
