Yep. Same here. Because I never expected us to do so good 2 years ago in the first place and we were up against an intimidating Barca team.

Thus time it's much different. It's 50-50 and we've got the personnel to bear any team.

Another final loss would probably break me for a while. Would start to think if the Bela Guttmann curse applies to Juventus too :scared:
Yeah, it's going to be a very scary game that results in either pure joy or endless depression.
Also we played a French team in the semi-final.

Plus whoever beats Barca goes on to win the CL.
Did we face Monaco before losing to real in the final last time?

A part of me feels that if we don't win the CL this season then I really don't care about the league anymore next season. I want our wins to mean something so I'm kinda hoping Milan and Inter's chinese owners are filthy rich and that they buy everything they see because I would love for our wins to mean something again.

Watching this got me so pumped for the final, we have to do it for him and for those that 10 years ago stuck by the greatest team of all time, Alex, Pavel, David and the rest.

Yep

History can't repeat itself again ffs
- no teams has ever defended CL on CL era
- juve won 2 CLs by defeating the previous champions on the final matches
- on those 2 CL wins, we defeated 2 different french teams on the semi
- other 5 CL finals defeat were against 'new' CL winners
- we have 100% knock out stages records against madrid since that '98 final

so in this case we should want the history to repeat itself.

People are way to focused on history. It doesn't matter at this point.

It's 90 minutes. Go out there with focus, grinta, team organisation... and do everything you need to do to win it.

We'll be fine and we'll bring the trophy home.

This final will either be one of the best days of my life or one of the worst days of my life. There's nothing in between. I'm scared shitless of another massive disappointment.

Finalophobia. We had it in Coppa too, but overcame it with great luck vs Lazio and then Milan.

We will have to get extremely lucky at some point in Cardiff too.

No, we don't. We just need to play like we normally do. Stop perpetuating this irrational fear.

You need luck in Cup tournaments, don't fight me on this :D even Allegri said that.

I admit I'm scared :scared: never denied that.

Still haven't recovered from 2003, I was impressionable back then, 2015 was easier to digest.

2003 sucked because we were the best team in that competition. Unfortunately Nedved's mistake cost us in the final. 2015 was easier because Barcelona were the better team. But it still felt really bad because I genuinely thought (I still do really) that we could have done so much better in that final.

Everyone are more confident now compared to 2 years ago but man you need to stop clowning yourself here just like you did 2 years ago. Enough with the eccentric behaviour ffs.
It's not eccentric. It's annoying that people think all of this comes down to luck. It doesn't. Either we're going to be the best team and win (which I expect) or we won't and Real will claim it. This isn't some roll of the dice. We have 90 minutes to prove ourselves. Luck has nothing to do with it.

Allegri knows their weak points, knows where it hurts them and he will set this team to hurt them bad, really bad.

I don't really care about any of their players as long as there's confidence and concentration Allegri is winning this.

Yeah we will have to avoid their offside goals... like in 98 which was the last time they beat us in the knockout round (beat us I mean eliminated us which was the final)

- - - Updated - - -

Our head to head record against them (all time) is: 8-2-8
The bad thing is in a neutral place we lost 2 of the only 2 games
The good thing is 98 was clearly an offside goal and is difficult to say Real were the better side..

Statistics say its a balanced tie but I think we will win this one
