People in this thread have been making the mistake of thinking it's either/or.

Psg were horrible throughout. They have themselves to blame for making this possible. But without that fifth goal, which was a disgrace, Barcelona would still have been out. These are two facts that can easily co exist. Psg were bad and the ref was bad too.

It reminds me of the OJ trial. Back then people also thought that either the LAPD was racist or OJ did it. But both are true. You can say OJ did it and still call the LAPD racist.
He didn't do it.

Which makes this whole "greatest comeback ever" a disgrace. A professional team playing in one of the most prestigious tournament in football cannot put a performance like that one. And likewise, the referee mistake in the fifth goal is unnaceptable at this level.

As a football fan this whole situation is embarrassing. But of course UEFA and Barcelona are gonna milk this game dry and ride the popularity wave.

On days like this I wonder why do I even bother with this sport.

I think we are all pretty clear it were both.

Psg was disgraceful, but should have gone thru even with that pathetic performance. Cavani goal sealed it. The rest was a parade

When is the draw?
I know there are still games to be played but IIRC there is only Tuesday and Wednesday games to be played before the QF..

i agree with you about what their spirit.
but without both penalties and og, they would not get six then no one would talk about their spirit.
only the second penalty is problematic imo. Rebounding with 5-1 instead of 6-1 is still pretty impressive and says a lot about Barca's spirit.

In reality they actually didn't keep believing. They thought they were out after the Cavani goal which should have been obvious to anyone watching the game. They had lost all hope of qualifying until the Neymar free-kick, it was only after that goal they started believing again.

Are you really questioning the mental strength of Juve? We don't do large deficits.
We dont get thrashed 4-0 either so there is that :D but yes we obviously dont have the mental strength that a team like Barca has and their CL record recently proves that and is a huge reason why they are that mentally strong

Ye I could never see Juve doing this. We are too scared and passive to play an attacking game like that.

We would have probably bottled it like PSG did tonight if we came to the camp nou with a 4 goal lead.

I will never forget the first 45 mins in Turin last season against Bayern. It was the exact same performance as PSG.

A team has to believe in themselves and not pay too much respect to the opposition
I see your point but I still dont think we would do a PSG. PSG are definitely mentally weaker than us.

PSG have been scarred. No players, well, nobody will take them as seriously as before that match. Way less attractive of a destination and project.

And this creature calls himself a Juventus fan. Go back to redcafe. We don't need such pathetic fans here. The mods should hand out infractions for posting such rubbish, and trashing our club and squad like this. :sergio:

Absolutely absurd to suggest we'd bottle a 4-0 lead like PSG. Please show me the last time we lost by 4 or 5 goals. Anywhere.

Idiots like you were in full meltdown mode when we went down 2-0 to Bayern last year, acting like we were going to be absolutely spanked and humiliated. We weren't. We came back, scored 2 goals. Then rubbish was posted about how we would get smashed at the Allianz because of our pussy tactics and Bayern was too strong there. We went up 2-0, had a legit Morata goal ruled offside, and Bayern only tied it on an injury time fuck up by Evra, then we lost in Extra time because we were totally gassed. Yeah. We got so smashed because our pussy tactics and scared, passive mentality.

 at the thought we would bottle a 4-0 first leg advantage because we are too scared to play at the Camp Nou.

Congrats, you win most idiotic post of 2017, in March, no one can outdo this.

Might be stupid question, but could PSG just refuse to play and receive technical loss 3-0 and still go through next stage lol? Or they would be disqualified? If so they could play unregister player or disqualified player or sth like that to get this technical loss.
wow that would've been smart! beating Barcelona without even playing :D
jajaja i think technically it would have been possible.

Obvs UEFA and the whole world would have never permitted that and somehow would have made Barcelona go thru for justice to prevail!!

Its a very shamfull way for PSG to pass tho.
Should have taken my advice
Why doesn't PSG purposely get 3 red cards early in the game (with unimportant squad players obviously), and lose the game 3-0 by default? Then they go through 4-3 on agg.

If they do decide to do that, they should also try to get as many Barca players injured as possible in the process
