We just don't have the attacking cohesion of the likes of Barca. We are a different kind of team but I agree that if we hypothetically were losing 4-0 it's difficult to see us coming back. I'd but it down to attacking and scoring ability rather than a lack of mental strength though. Let's also remember that this result was historical anyways and not something that happens often.
