I made the argument a few weeks back on another thread in regards to the capabilities of DUMB Neri, and if he is in fact a better coach than Ranieri or Zac....

My answer then and now is a big fat NO !!! I knew this clown was gonna make excuses about the temperature, weather, and the pitch, but I saw a 5th place team in the Polish league, who are mediocre at best, outplay a team filled with internationals. This also happened against the same team, in better weather conditions back in the balmy weather of early fall.

Our team was out-played, out-possessed, out-muscled and out-hustled.... the mighty Juventus we are not !! We didnt even win a fucking game in the group stage of this league, how are we improving as a club ????

I am so embarassed right now, and if were not going to replace the cyclops with Luciano Moggi, then DUMB Neri needs to be sacked or resign RIGHT FUCKING NOW !!! We are going NOWHERE with this mid-table loser in charge. Let him go back to Chievo or Samp and be happy just to qualify for a European tournament, and do NOTHING in it !!!

Someone please tell me, what is this imbeciles record in Europe ??? He won a few games against an Irish pub league team, so fucking what. He doesnt have one ounce of European experience to run a club like ours...nor does he have any Scudetti in his resume either...what the fuck are we doing here ??? Can you imagine what will happen if we (somehow) get a CL spot next season ?? We wont even make it out of the prelims !!!!

I have never been a fan of this clown, or the blind fool in charge, and as far as I'm concerned, they can both fucking leave !!! We wont win fuck all with these 2 douchebags at our club

I would like to see Pepe, who has as much skill as I do, leave as soon as possible too. Cant cross, cant pass, no skills...great signing, Stevie Wonder !!!

Momo "hot potato" Sissoko has to go, too. Everytime the ball comes to him, he just kicks it away, like its a hot potato. He cannot comprehend the process of trapping the ball and taking a look to see who's open before passing the ball. He should go to my 5 year olds training sessions, maybe she and her teammates can teach him a thing or two.

I think to show our discontent with this Europa fiasco, NO ONE should go to the stadium when Man City comes to Turin in a totally meaningless game
You crack me up Vinny. Stop living in the past. The mighty Juve does not exist anymore. This whole scenario came about because of some fantastic coincidences. First we got relegated which obviously meant an exodus of talent and loss of cash. Something else was already happening just before we got relegated. Something that most Italian managers have a hard time accepting. Our team needed a breath of fresh air, the players were already getting old. Then we got it hopelessly wrong when the rebuilding process started resulting in a mid table status. Meanwhile Italian football was sinking like a stone in European football due to archaic management methods. Considering all these factors I think we are doing ok right now. Some say we don't care about europa league, I call that bs. We cared alright but we were not good enough. Am I disappointed, absolutely but my comparison tells me that we are in a better shape than last year and that is all that matters. Slowly & surely we will get back to our glory days. Least right now with Del Neri Juve does not bore me half to death 90% of the season while scraping wins, we have played plenty of entertaining matches.

Do you actually change your posts and write new ones, or do you just copy them from other threads and change the words. You make me sick!

To the rest: The fact, that the players we bought are not all allowed to play in the competition, the fact we played 4 Primavera players against Salzburg and those conditions today made a success impossible in this competition. However, who wants to win the cup of loosers. Being in that competition was a disgrace anyways.

And for those of you, who say Salzburg and Posen are must win games. Man City lost in Posen, as its damn hard to play there. The fans are crazy there and really are the 12th man for this team.
Salzburg finished last years group stage as the best team with 6 wins out of 6!

Well, there you have it. We played 5 games in the EL, 4 of which were against a lot less priviliged teams, and we won 0. Absolutely pathetic. No matter what the circumstances are.

For what it's worth, my take on the game.

Manninger 5,5 - Did catch a few balls. Not sure if he should have reacted differently on the goal.
Traore 5 - Mediocre.
Bonucci 5 - Shaky.
Chiellini 4 - Impressive marking on the goal & a bunch of other mistakes.
Camilleri 5 - Who?
Pepe 4 - Useless.
Sissoko 5 - The usual.
Marchisio 5,5 - Not good enough but still useful.
Krasic 6,5 - Overall not that good, but one of the only ones who provided something.
Del Piero 3 - Ranged from pretty bad to absolutely awful. Nice finishing as well.
Iaquinta 6,5 - Can't blame him. Abysmal service throughout the game, but still managed to convert when he actually had the chance.

Lanzafame 5 - Little impact.
Melo -
Libertazzi -

Team suck as expected with a Ranieri-like coach and Shaolin wooden man as striker. I am not talking about just this game but whole season. This current team is like a toothless tiger as it could not even bite Brescia and Bari.

I dont understand why everybody is hating on Del Neri now. I understand you are disappointed, but I mean common, what do you guys prefer: Europa League or a good Serie A result?

This season it's all about finishing in the top of the Serie A and reaching the Champions League again. I understand a team like Juve have to qualify for everything, but again, this is a building team who just need a Champions League spot for next year.

Don't hate on Del Neri after this result, he's doing a good job at Juve in my opinion.

I'm willing to give the team and Del Neri till christmas break, and then we can judge.
But, still the exit from EL at this stage is embarrassing.

i don't care about this competition, but what i do care is that this competition is a reminder that we are far from being a good enough to play in cl group stages.

we seriously need some heavy reinforcements in summer if we are to do well in cl next year.
Yes, we also need our full compliment of players, those injured and cup-tied. We have played youth team players on more than one occasion in this competition.

Its certainly worth a brief sigh of dismay, but it passes quickly, and does not in any way lessen the wind in my sails of hope and high spirits for this season's Juve. City got done away to Lech, whereas with a weaker team (on paper) we drew and by the reports I have read, should really have won the match. Our unbeaten run continues, which is now standing at???...10 games unbeaten in Serie A. 5 games unbeaten in europe. In such horrid conditions, lacking several key players, a 1-1 draw, with plenty of chances created, is fine by me. A shame...but I agree with the many, in that we ca now focus fully on the league, or rather, we can have a stronger chance of meeting our aims in the league. Without midweek games, other than the coppa, there is definitely less chance of injuries. To be fair, its obvious that the league is our major goal, else why the hell would del neri rest Melo???? our priorities are clear.

...Lets destroy catania this weekend, with Quag, Melo, Aquiliani all back in the starting lineup, as well as an indomitable performance from King Chiellini, who was not at his best last night.

and also...after reading through so many of the threads on here, as I have been doing for the last year, I am will now dull my input down to a minimum, and suggest to anyone else who is simply sick and tired of having to wade through so much childish bullshit, so much cliquey schoolyard shitswamp, so much pointless virtual chest beating, where its obvious that ego is more important than any semblance of desire for the very best for Juve, and any semblance of eagerness to find warmth in those other juvenitini who truly love the club...those folk, should take a peek here :
http://juventus.theoffside.com/

as there I have found regular, intelligent debate, regular podcasts, and a community of people who dont feel the need to talk of homosexual puerile ignorance, but simply, love juve, and wish to rub virtual shoulders, with others, who simply love juve...and to discuss without any desire of ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME, the matters which matter most to the true juve supporters.

other than mark, and juvejay, and gamarro, and a few others I have likely neglected to mention, but still, im talking of a handful, not a phalanx, the general trend on here towards egotism before love and eagerness for objective debate about Juventus, has become too irritating for me...

no doubt I will continue to check the site, but that will be mainly forto view the news of mark, capitano, and juvejay. not to waste my precious hours wading through the childish chaff of members exchanging schoolyard emissions of their own mental enfeebleness, then showing smileys and virtual pride at how they feel so warmly part of a pack of spastics...

Definitely, this is what i want Marotta and DN realize for next season.. For now, i would be glad if we can just concentrate at Serie A and Coppa.. We don't have quality to challenge in all (3) competitions especially with kind lot of injuries our players got..

I won't moaned about this match.. The condition is just not good and snowy there.. Actually we already bought our elimination ticket when we can't even beat Salzburg at home..
