Yeah Tevez was finishing like shit our entire CL campaign last season, so are we all going to be idiots and pretend that didn't happen?

That's like me quoting everybody who's slating Bonucci every game when Bonucci puts in a MOTM performance and saying "Ha! I told you so, this game cancels out all of the other ones because fuck logic"

Tevez was evidently not what we needed last season in the CL, I figured his 0 goals in 6 apps would've maybe helped people understand that.

Will he have a great CL campaign this season? I'd love to see it. But yeah he was a let down last season and it's going to take a bit more than 2 goals against fucking Malmo to make me forget how shit our attack was last season when it really mattered in the CL.

Great game by him today, but stop pretending that all of the previous games didn't happen just because at this particular moment in time he scored a brace.

theres a difference between dismissing a player and commenting on his form

I was never a big Aguero fan but he clearly is the best player between the two. But i don't see neither as Argentina greats, they're levels below the likes of Batistuta, Caniggia, Kempes and even Crespo.

Tevez, in my book, is on the same level as Palermo, just being a harder worker with a little more skill to this game.

Except it wasn't "form" it was a 5 year goal drought compounded by crap performances against Copenhagen and Galatasaray. It's not like he was having one off day.

Juve and Tevez flopped in Europe last season. And I was hardly proven wrong when 3 games in I said we were going to do absolutely nothing with Tevez leading the line.

So as I said, he had a great game tonight and I hope he continues. But last seasons CL was embarrassing and Tevez couldn't outperform the comparatively shit strikers he was brought in to replace. That's a fact

any juventuno worth his salt would pick tevez over aguero, the mental toughness, the will to win and that hard work epitomize what we stand for imo
Hard work only gets you so far. It's who you know. That is why my favorite players are Lampard, Terry, Dorgba and Joe Cole.

Bring it on. I've known Tevez since his Corinthians days. He's always been an inconsistent striker. The reason he's a fan's favorite is because of his hard work, his grinta, his passion which i love about him. But he's a limited player.
and i know him since his boca days :D tevez is an amazing player, anywhere he goes he succeeds, he singlehandedly kept west ham up that season he played there for fucks sake when that gallina masch couldnt even cut it. He might not be the flashiest dribbler or smoothest finisher but goddamn does he get the job done.

Bony also kept Swansea City up last season and who the hell is Bony?

Don't get me wrong but what stands out the most about him is how he gives his all, old school style. He's explosive and tough and would leave the pitch bleeding like it was nothing.

All in all, He's talented but not special-talented and can only do so much due to his limitations as a striker. But hey, it's easy to love the guy.
