@PostIronic I am right here, he is a fantastic player no doubt, but why cant he do this in Europe? IF he played this well in the CL i would happily keep him. He was signed to bring us to the next level in Europe not Serie A as we were already bossing it.

He's a very good player no doubt i like his style quite a lot, he limits us tactically to a 2 striker formation which is kind of killing us. He is 30 maybe has 2 years left at the top. He also has not performed in Europe for a long time. He is not the perfect player a lot of people make him out to be.

If he performed like he did today in the CL i would cum in my pants just watching him play, maybe next year he might do it! He has raped in Serie A though i cant deny that he has been fantastic for us.

15 goals and 6 assists in Serie A this season with so many matches to be played.

:delpiero:
Like I said at the beginning of the season and few DP's groupies laughed, but I'll repeat it again he has better finish than ADP. These numbers he pulls are impressive.

Ok, if not the best player in the league because of Vidal being better, is that the best Tevez so far? And can he be better?

Oh I agree with you in a sense. The problem is, we just haven't had the cash to buy a striker that much better than Tevez, that it would make the difference. I'd like to see him perform in the CL, and I think perhaps next year he will do better, I honestly think that. Our whole team was pretty poor in the CL, and Tevez did not get much in the way of good service.

We'll see though. I'm hoping enough matches in EL will get him going in Euro comps again, as he had a few good CL campaigns with ManU years ago.

If not, I'd still like to see him stay here and also have one more top striker brought in to allow for better rotation before CL matches. Having fresh strikers going into midweek matches would be handy.

Ye my only problem with him is he we cant play a 4-3-3 with him unless he plays out wide which doesn't get the best out of him.

I wonder if he'd do okay out wide and cutting in. Or playing in a 4-3-1-2 perhaps. If we had a trequartista á la early DP or Totti, we could play Llorente and Tevez in front of him.

It would be worth to try him behind llorente and osvaldo?. He seems to be most effective when having space to shoot and is a natural ball recoverrer so why not?.

He seems to get better as the season goes on and he continues to build his understanding with the guys around him. His connection with Llorente has developed sooo much since their first games together. We should be optimistic for the future. It took Llorente a while to get up to speed and so much of Tevez's game is his build up play. It makes sense the more he plays with the team the better he should get.

Man, I could not believe the power he put on that shot.

Argentina days?
I'd say the best year of his career was when he was top scorer in the EPL for City. He was bossing teams.

Hopefully he can be top scorer in Serie A and equal his best year.

I would be up for that. But in that case midfield behind needs to be ironclad, no Pirlo.
