Cassano in 2003-04 was brilliant.

When you think of him you always think 'what if'

I don't.

I think spoilt little crator face who crys watching Armageddon. The bit where Bruce willis rips off his badge and gives it to Ben affleck and says to take care of his elf faced daughter.

When Vucinic has a proper game he does it all. Just makes no sense for you to rip on him, especially after the supercoppa. Looking forward to comparing his performances with Tevez this season, should be interesting to see how much he can match him. The difference is going to be huge when Vucinic is having his off months, but minimal when he is playing well.

I'm not ripping on him, I just don't think he's as good as some here claim even at his best. I'm all for keeping him though, unless we replace him with someone better of course. But that won't happen mostly due to wages. For now at least...

But when he is at his best he never goes a game without atleast one goal and one assist. The supercoppa is an exemption, but he just gets stuff done when he plays good. He holds the balll up and keeps pressure off the team, dribbles past opponents like they dont exist, plays through balls like Silva and curls the ball into the net. He would be a 30+ m striker if he had some form of consistency to him.

That is exaggerating, and I just can't see that he is that good. There are so many better players than him.

I'm not saying that you haven't been paying attention thus far, but keep an eye out the next time he plays one of his games and tell me where precisely I am exaggerating.

He loses the ball all the time even when on form and his passing is good but nowhere near David Silva like..

I disagree. It might look as if David Silva has superior passing but the guy plays in a much more open league, where teams almost never park the bus. Vucinic has been given the assignment to crack open defences who from the first minute showed up only to play a 0-0 game. It's easier to play a through ball when there are three defenders in front of you as opposed to breaking open two lines of four with one pass.

The thing about Vucinic is that whenever his fanboys try to state how great he is, there's always a pre-condition, like "when on form", "when at his best", "on his day". They simply fail to factor his performances when he's off form/not his best/no his day, which is the reason why I don't rate him as astronomically high as you do.
