I liked Alexandria more than Cairo. Sure, Cairo has the Pyramids, but except for that I thought Alexandria was an overall nicer place.
It worked for Elizabeth Taylor. :agree:

So does this mean the Library at Alexandia is gone?
Ever since Richard Burton torched it to the ground accidentally, it's all digital now, man.

I can't survive one day in Cairo's summer! at least here we have the cold breeze all year, beside the amazing view! small city though, but it's all history

-They just had a march 2 weeks ago in Cairo because they turned a building into a Church and here it's not allowed to build a Masjid or Church without permission from the government, so they marched and threw rocks, I don't remember at what
but anyway, Qaeda been threatening them since and before that
-They're 5-10% of the population, and personally I think they deserve more rights and better treatment, I feel too sorry for my Christian friends here..
-You know, for immigration, student and visit visas to ANY European or Western country they're favoured, almost all of them get accepted right away and Muslims get refused, it's a very very sad thing to do leaving it all behind..

Still nice  but the government isn't, and the people are too ignorant

but it's interesting too many people from Balkan and Romania told me how much they like Egypt/Alexandria and the people here
The government definitely has a hand in this protest and terrorist acts. People don't decide doing this out of their mind, everything is organized..

True. At least I hope this will never affect the Christians in Lebanon. One of the things that makes Lebanon so unique is that fact that we're multi-sects there and Christians leaving the middle-east would be the most awful thing to happen in there.
Their turn will come soon, not to forget we all heard about the immigrations and how Christians' population decrease day by day in Lebanon.

Isn't this enough to hate religions, look what religions add to our lives, amazing isn't it?

Actually today I heard a theory that this was done by the government itself

because after the Cairo incident I mentioned, Christians tried abducting a minister and failed, and this could be the government's punishment, and I believe our government would do that, this did way worse before.
plus, at the area all the police did was arresting whoever takes pics, but they left the Christian and Muslim riots, who fought each other and 8 got injured, police watching.
again I pray to God that Christians act wisely, although I wouldn't blame them if they acted otherwise..
friends of my Christian friends died last night, and a personal friend went home covered in blood after he participated in cleaning the area and carrying the bodies around last night, instead of celebrating the new year.

True, the numbers are decreasing compared to 30years ago and this scares me TBH. This is a bad for all open mind Muslims but a good sign for the fanatics ones.

This is why I'm hoping the Christian leaders in Lebanon, Aoun and Geagea will do anything they can to have the Christian immigrants back and prevent Iraq alike situation in Lebanon.

    Yeah, an old movie.

Not to take the situation lightly. Because the politics behind Egypt the past few decades have been the wrong kind of comedy.

    It's already happening in Iraq.

The ones behind it are puppets, like most Arab leaders nowadays.

I know, very sad. They were forced to leave which is even more sad.

I also meant in Lebanon, Syria and Jordan.
Many of them are leaving here in Egypt too, not forced, but the living circumstances are getting harder and harder, then you hear someone calling Christians kuffar or أنجاس you wouldn't want to stay even if it's home.

These people I wouldn't mind emptying bullets on their heads. They shouldn't live in the 21st century.

That's ugly indeed.. be sure, in Arab worlds, and specially in strong nations like Egypt, everything goes on (almost everything) is by the knowledge and approval of the leaders. Just like you said the incidents, everything is crystal clear.

True, the numbers are decreasing compared to 30years ago and this scares me TBH. This is a bad for all open mind Muslims but a good sign for the fanatics ones.

These two leaders and add to them Hariri and Nasrallah, don't want to stop this religious conflicts, otherwise the show will be over, and they won't be any interesting to people who vote them for life no matter what they do. with these conflicts, they will keep on talking bullshits (disrespecting this and that side) on TV so they attract audience.

Trust me, none of these give a fuck about the country, there is no reason for these conflicts to happen, and if they decide, they can end it in a minute. They won't, because people will not need them once they do, and will look for better servants for the country instead of masters like them..

The ones behind it are puppets, like most Arab leaders nowadays.

Sadly here I am hearing these words flying in the air more often than before..

    1 minute after the bombing

There was a longer one but youtube blocked it.... it had a lot of bodies...

This makes it pretty clear that the emergency law is not doing a very good job protecting Egypt. It is ONLY a tool of government terror.

I really hope i can leave this shit hole in one piece.
