I liked Alexandria more than Cairo. Sure, Cairo has the Pyramids, but except for that I thought Alexandria was an overall nicer place.

True. At least I hope this will never affect the Christians in Lebanon. One of the things that makes Lebanon so unique is that fact that we're multi-sects there and Christians leaving the middle-east would be the most awful thing to happen in there.

Their turn will come soon, not to forget we all heard about the immigrations and how Christians' population decrease day by day in Lebanon.

Actually today I heard a theory that this was done by the government itself

because after the Cairo incident I mentioned, Christians tried abducting a minister and failed, and this could be the government's punishment, and I believe our government would do that, this did way worse before.
plus, at the area all the police did was arresting whoever takes pics, but they left the Christian and Muslim riots, who fought each other and 8 got injured, police watching.
again I pray to God that Christians act wisely, although I wouldn't blame them if they acted otherwise..
friends of my Christian friends died last night, and a personal friend went home covered in blood after he participated in cleaning the area and carrying the bodies around last night, instead of celebrating the new year.

True, the numbers are decreasing compared to 30years ago and this scares me TBH. This is a bad for all open mind Muslims but a good sign for the fanatics ones.

This is why I'm hoping the Christian leaders in Lebanon, Aoun and Geagea will do anything they can to have the Christian immigrants back and prevent Iraq alike situation in Lebanon.

That's ugly indeed.. be sure, in Arab worlds, and specially in strong nations like Egypt, everything goes on (almost everything) is by the knowledge and approval of the leaders. Just like you said the incidents, everything is crystal clear.

These two leaders and add to them Hariri and Nasrallah, don't want to stop this religious conflicts, otherwise the show will be over, and they won't be any interesting to people who vote them for life no matter what they do. with these conflicts, they will keep on talking bullshits (disrespecting this and that side) on TV so they attract audience.

Trust me, none of these give a fuck about the country, there is no reason for these conflicts to happen, and if they decide, they can end it in a minute. They won't, because people will not need them once they do, and will look for better servants for the country instead of masters like them..
