Not gonna lie, this doesnt upset me. I just hate hiring former players/club legends right after they retire or before they've proven they're qualified for a job. Let him get his feet wet post-career, see what he's passionate about, see how he does, and when he's worthy of joining a top club like Juventus, bring him home.

Nothing is worse than seeing a former player you love like Pirlo join the club, struggle, and then watching him or rooting for him to get fired.

Absolutely agree. Loved Pirlo as a player, hated his guts as a coach. Should have fired him sooner.

Notice how the "he doesn't have a good squad" excuse only applies to Allegri.
nah, pirlo's squad wasn't the strongest in the league either. "securing" the cl place thanks to a lucky verona counter was still an underachievement

imo the last scudetto worthy squad was sarri's

About time we get a couple of JJ legends back at the club

Get Del Piero or Buffon as well while we're at it
On one side i wouldn’t want them to eventually become punching bags and scapegoats for the board in case next few seasons we still don’t challenge for the Scudetto or do mediocre in Europe but at the same time i’m thinking that legends like them in key positions on the sporting side are maybe exactly what we need and have been missing to have everyone sailing in the same direction and become a serious club again.

Defensive masterclass by Chiellini and Bonucci and proceeds to showing a clip of Chiellini blocking and winning duels for 90% of the duration of it, even they know…

Admittedly it takes about half hour of searches through years of your trolling(praising him to trigger others) only in the Bonucci thread alone to be able to find and see what you really think about him…

Nobody said Bonucci didn’t have his good moments here but especially in his 2nd stint he was an overpaid liability more often than not.

i would agree with you normally if it was any defender. but bonucci has consistently now for 2 seasons shown he forgets basic defending.

you don't get this sort of nonsense from chiellini or de light. yet bonucci sometimes forgets defending basics
this fella thinking he messi just trying to dribble casually. i demand a formal apology
Any set up where this "leader" is left to defend directly against opponents is destined to fail. He couldn't defend my dead grandmother 1v1. Utter fraud. A midfielder playing in defence is only useful going in one direction.

Pirlo's exposed "system" is going to make him and us look like shit throughout this season. He's easily the last high-profile defender I'd pick in my team to defend an opponent running against you on a counter attack.

reason he stays fit so long is he never commits to challenges 100 percent. that be on ground or aerial. less contact means less chance of injury

compare that to our other defenders, or any top defender for other clubs. they all get injured because of being physical.
bonucci exagerrating his past life like the old man we see at the gym who says he used to be shredded and bench pressed 3 plates.
