Wasn't particularly bad. Just wasn't particularly good either.

His decision to try and volley was ridiculous, but if we're looking at our big, clumsy CB to score our goals and complaining when he isn't the difference maker in attack, then something is badly wronhg.

These tactics made him one of our most players with the most touches in the team. Fucking Chiellini. It's this guy's responsibility to start a Juve attack.

If you think of it, to win ball possession and push the opponents to their half back-line it depends how good your defenders are with the ball more than midfielders.

I don't want Chiellini to start an attack and make the difference but at least be half a good passer that Pessotto was, you can't be this dumb with the ball after training for almost 10 years with Juve with world class players, he panics, can't control a ball, can't pass to save his life but can defend only, Barzagli, Caceres, Bonucci are more complete defenders than him.

Conte's tactics demands a lot from his defenders and wing backs, yet they're almost all limited with the ball at their feet. It suits us defensively, but is costing us offensively against proper teams. We're easy to defend against as we're slow and predictable.

Too much energy that results into panicking and unable to pass 5 meter ball or even control a simple cross.

Beast defender but dumbest player with the ball, more dumb than Molinaro.

Cant say it doesnt irritate me seeing Licht scarcely beeing able to take on his man, player like Sanchez should be positioned there. But thats the thing, we dont have the right set of players that would give us the same balance as our current tactics and Conte uses 3-5-2 more out of necessity. Im eagerly waiting for the summer to see the direction we will take on the market.

Then it would make sense to have a player like Asamoah on the other side, to create balance.

You know mathematically he can pass couple of times to Bonucci or Barzagli and he'd have 100% pass accuracy and more than Pirlo or Vidal.

okay, let's dig deeply
average pass length:
Serie A - 36m long balls, 20m backwards, 20m forwards
CL - 36m long balls, 19m backwards, 21m forwards
EU - 40m long balls, 21m backwards, 20m forwards
passing accuracy:
Serie A - successful passes 91% - general 1489 passes, headed 91, long balls 142; Unsuccessful Passes 9% - general 91, headed 36, long balls 49
CL - successful passes 86% - general 203 passes, headed 17, long balls 27; Unsuccessful Passes 14% - general 22, headed 8, long balls 8
EU - successful passes 87% - general 210 passes, headed 13, long ball 20; Unsuccessful Passes 13% - general 15, headed 12, long balls 9

Enough? Chiellini is a good passer
