Veterans Doubtful Over Cannavaro Return

It seems that the will of Juve's "senators", such as Buffon, Del Piero and Trezeguet, could be decisive for the possible return of Fabio Cannavaro to the club.

Seeing Fabio Cannavaro back with Juventus is a hypothesis, but to realise it the Naples-born player will need the support of his ex-team mates. In fact, according to rumours it is the Bianconeri "senators" - Trezeguet, Del Piero and Buffon who stayed in Serie B - who are against the return of Cannavaro to the club.

The reason is simple: inside the dressing room, those who abandoned the ship while it was sinking is considered almost like a traitor: Cannavaro, just like Zambrotta, Ibrahimovic, Capello etcetera.

However, the Juve veterans are apparently keeping close contact these days to decide whether to give the green light for the club to allow the operation: in this case it's possible that the good of the club will be chosen first of all.

Italian football has changed so much now from the 1990's when it was the dominant force in Europe...back then they had at last learned the profit of attacking football while still keeping the traditional Italian defensive values in place. Now, it's more about attack only & how much European success has that brought modern calcio by comparison? Italian players & coaches have been influenced by watching too much bloody English premiership!

cannavaro is the only one of them that i want back. he seems to deeply regret leaving juve and he seems like he would like to come back he also never requested to be transferd he just couldnt resist madrid which may suck but 90% of players would have left i dont like him very much aymore but if he comes back i will have no hard feelings. yet the rest of them can all go fuck themselves

I didn't mind the idea of having him back, but if Del Piero, Buffon, Nedved and the Boys are not happy with the idea, I say forget it... he's not worth the dressing room troubles.
