Okay enough of the fun and games. Lets get down to brass tacks.
Yes Gsol you have done a lot of research, whoopee for you but pity your research did not cover a minor but really major detail of what it all boils down to.
JuveAdam touched on it but you brushed it off as usual.
We were relegated by a football tribunal not a court of law and that is the most important thing here to consider.
If I can just sidetrack for a while, and go to Rio Ferdinand's case, he was banned for a lengthy period of time.
HE DID NOT FAIL A DRUGS TEST, HE MISSED IT
He could have taken marijuana, cocaine, anabolic steroids thg or he could have been innocent , we don't know that and might never know it, what we do know is that his absence harmed Man United and England's cause in euro 2004
The big point here is that the fA did not have to prove his guilt, Rio had to prove his innocence.
If he took the case to court then it would have been up tot he FA to prove guilt but the case would have been prolonged and he would have missed possibly up to 2 years or so
Interestingly Edgar Davids, who actually failed a drugs test missed less time than Rio who may have been innocent
Bringing us to Juventus, we accused by Figc which is a football tribunal of manipulation of referees, and other offences.
Now yes the guys on the board were mainly made up of enemies that meant we had to come up with something really good to get out of the predicament.
It was not a court so they did not have to provide evidence or whatever, they just had to agree that there was skullduggery going on.
It was up to Juventus to prove that what we were accused of , we did not really do but obviously did not do that hence serieB
Now the clincher as you will be wondering why didnt Milan get relegated along with us based on suspicions.
It was mainly it was because the people accused on both sides are very different.
Luciano Moggi was Juventus, he played a major role and there was no way we could have used a loophole like Milan did as Meani, may be an employee but how many people knew him
Ironically moggi has been linked to mafia but he failed to do what the dons do by getting other people to do their dirty job because if it was not because of Moggi's involvement we would not have been relegated.
He had the chance to defend himself and coming up with leakage of transfers would have been considered weak.
How again the tribunal was very clever was by saying if we appealed or went to ccourt then the case would drag on and Italy would be suspended from euro 2008 as serieA would not have started.
This would have added to the hatred that we already possess with the other clubs that have suspected us forever
Yes Gsol , we all know about the the connections with the guys involved but we could not prove our innocence and it was not up to them to prove anything
And oh yes so just you know, unsportsman like behaviour was much more than calling a refree a fag, Moggi could not explain how and why he gave Pairetto a SIM card and we could not disprove all the charges brought against us adequately
If we do go to court however, then it is up to them to prove we did what they said we did.
But seriously what is this gonna do, unrelegate us?
