How did he play in the olym on a scale of 1 to awsome?
I would say 8/10 a great goal, a great assist, good dribbles and generally good, was alot around on the pitch. Maybe he could have challenged the opponents a bit more.

Tacchinardi is a waste of an outfit
Tacchinardi has held Juve's midfield together more than 10 years now, not alone but with a good partner alongside him, like Emerson, so he is not waste.

Where did you guys get 8 and 7? I asked for a rating from a scale from 1 to awsome.
OK, he was good, plus semi great, which amounts to 1/4 of awesome :groan:

A good player like Appiah is able to play every tactic and midfield role there is, and he also did play well the first 10(!) matches, he knocked Davids out, after a while the whole team underperformed so i dont think Appiah was more noticeable than the others.
Appaih played as the number 10 of the Ghana side, he did zero defending. In juve he has to play as a midfielder doing both defensive and offensive job, because he is not good enough (not enough skill, not enough vision) to play in a mainly attacking role.

So as an am I think he is no good enough
As a cm, he wins no ball, not much movement off the ball, and reckless passing (losing tooooo much balls, often let the defense exposed)

btw. Moggi and Davids himself knocked Davids out.

I dont know how Ghana handles their numbers, but Appiah probably has it because he is the most known and profiled player they have. He is quite versalite in the midfield i think, hard to say were he is best, but if Juve cant use a good player like him, then its juve there is something wrong with, not Appiah, or that the competition is high. Personally i would have tested him on the right midfield. Not as a 100% wing, but to simply controll the right midfield, and with Oddo doing most of the wing attacks (if he comes).

Yeah, just like Pirlo had the 10 for Italy.

And Appiah did play RM in the American tour last year, he was good.
