A dedication to a drink driver... What is the world coming to!
I ask purely out of curiosity.. it's just that I see plenty of people condemning drunk driving so it raises an interesting question. How careful are you with driving after a drink? Do you always turn it down or do you compromise sometimes? And what does it mean to have been drinking in terms of driving? Is that staying below the legal limit or do you (if you ever drive after a drink) make that call yourself?

Just as relevant for everyone else who drives a car. What is your policy?

Personally... I never drive if even the slightest amount of alcohol has passed my lips...

You don't, Majed? How does that work for you living in the US? I mean when you meet people, I imagine one of the most immediate concerns for folks our age is to get drunk, how do you fit into that? :)

i don't drink either. My friends understand, even though they like to joke with me sometimes. But there's no problem. I feel i don't have to get drunk to have fun.

that's correct, I don't drink. :)

Tough for you, and most people i know, to imagine I guess. Also tough for me like you said, but not drinking fits my own lifestyle and not to mention my beliefs.

On the bright side, some my friends have a set designated driver whenever i go out. :groan: (Not always fun)

hehe :D

Well I can relate to that, for many years I never had a drink. Nowadays I will usually have one but I don't feel any joy in getting drunk so I leave it at that (and I save money too :D).

It's not that I dont drive if I drink, it's that I dont drink if I drive.

Not me. I mean, sure, i can drink if I want to, and usually do have a few drinks when I'm with friends or at a party, but it gives me no perticular joy. Last night for example, I was at this club and there were a lot of people from my school I knew, so I ordered a votka. Took one sip, didnt like it, gave it to a mate and ordered myself orange juice :D

In that situation, that's where Red Bull is handy :D (OJ :undecide: )

If Im arrested again I want Fabiana to create a thread hoping im ok, I want my friend (thats you emma) to worry about me alittle like andy did. And maybe even call the station like andy did. Instead of sitting on her ass watching TV and then when I come in a day later ask me how it went. :groan:
