Sané is in terrific form this season. But he starts strong and then having a stinker in the second part. Now it's time for him to show he can be consistent in the new year.

Mainz played a good match, but they're in terrible form this year.

First video didn't even show one of their chances Ulreich only kept out by a miracle.

Xabi Alonso effect, definitely the best team in Germany right now, I think they'll really push bayern this season

Leverkusen is indeed playing some great football under Xabi. I just think they'll run out of steam in the new year.

Lothar Matthäus was a legendary midfielder but I wouldn't even want him to coach the local youth team.
yeah, it's not a rule that midfield leaders transform into great coaches, but many of the elite level coaches used to be midfielders, off the top of my head Zidane, Conte, Guardiola, Allegri, Capello, Wenger so I always look at former midfielders that start to coach with more enthusiasm than former strikers or defenders. but of course from the great midfielders of the previous gen like Pirlo, Lampard, Gerard, Arteta, Xavi, Xabi, etc maybe 2 in the end will turn out to be great coaches.

Xabi was the kind of player you'd expect to be a great coach, would not be surprising to see him thriving. then again, Pirlo too was a super intelligent midfielder :D
I hope Xabi will coach Bayern in the future. To me he definitely got what it takes to succeed here. He has played for 3 of the biggest clubs in the world, won a good amount of titles both domestically and international. He played more than 100 games in the CL, more than 100 caps for Spain, won the Euros x2, World Cup etc.

He knows what it takes at the highest level, he was a very intelligent footballer/midfielder as you also says. And not to forget he played with some all time greats, so it's not like he can't handle players with egos and I don't doubt he can control a dressing room. Players will respect him for the player he was.

Not to forget he speaks multiple languages, makes it way easier for him to implement his ideas to everyone.

Max has 5 titles with Juve and 1 with Milan, of course he's elite in the history of football.

He's also a wicked man these days, not only he's not on the same page as the pre-Cardiff Max, its not even the same book or library, man had a proper midlife crisis.
