We need to totally revamp our midfield and sign a starter level left-back. Dybala is so on and off and his wage demands are off the charts, so we should sell him for whatever we can before he leaves on a free next season. Attack is good as it is, we just need a bit more creativity with an offensive minded mid, maybe a back-up striker on a free or low-price. Get Allegri back, and play the beloved 4-2-3-1 again, or back to a 4-3-3.

Out: Dybala (60m), Ramsey (30m), Rabiot (35m), Bentancur (40m / 50%), Bernardeschi (30m), Chiellini (retires) = 175m

In: Buendia (45m), Kante (60m), SMS (60m), Alaba (Free), Milik/Dzeko/etc. (10-15m) = 175m

Pirlo ---> Allegri

-----------------------------------------------Szczesny (Buffon)----------------------------------------------
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Cuadrado (Danilo)---Bonucci (Dragusin)----De Ligt (Demiral)----Alaba (Sandro)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
------------------------Kante (McKennie)--------------------SMS (Arthur)-----------------------------
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
--------Chiesa (Buendia)------------Buendia (Kulusevski)---------------Ronaldo (Chiesa)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------------------------------------Morata (Milik)------------------------------------------------

The formation can just as easily be a 4-3-3 aswell; just get rid of the CAM and switch in McKennie. Despite Alaba demanding a huge wage, it would be a no-brainer if we manage to get rid of other wage-drains like Ramsey, Dybala and Rabiot. He can play LB, CDM and CB, all at such high levels that it doesn't require us to sign losers like Caceres and co. as winter panic buys when someone gets injured. Even if Bentancur still has that 50% sell-on fee, I hate that fucking useless donkey so much that I'd actually pay if someone would get rid of him for us. Signing Buendia would be a risky play, but after tracking him for several seasons of his I see him as the next big Argentine playmaking star in the mould of Dybala/Papu/Di Maria. Kante and SMS are obvious midfield bolstering choices, as they both handle their offensive and defensive duties with grinta and I don't see either of them completely unsellable for their respective clubs.

That wage bill though.. also no midfielder who can actually do the creative work + McK over Arthur.
Well, if the deadwood is sold is doable.

Alaba, Cuadrado (mf/wing hybrids) and Arthur are creative enough while Danilo will also come in support in the attacking phase. Locatelli is also very nice.

PS. I would give Chiesa the free role

I personally like it but its not going to happen. Doable on FM a bit more problematic in real life.
