"After the Darkness" by Tilly Bagshawe..... but it says Sidney Sheldon on the cover also since apparently Tilly has read every single Sheldon work and made this novel by Sheldon's standards.

What do you guys think about Ayn Rand? A friend of mine has been going on about her lately, and it's starting to arouse my interest.

i really doubt you'd like it, objectivist ideas get nauseating really quick, in a short and vulgar sum-up it basically teaches that the bigger an asshole you are the more successful you and society will be

Isn't she the one who wrote Fountainhead? Most people I know who have read it are pretentious little scums :D I don't know if it's a good book or not though.

I'm two thirds of the book through, but I hardly get time to read these days :(

She was fucked up as a person too - even people close to her said that. Danish Liberals love her.
