I agree with you about Karenina, it's tiring and I probably wouldn't have pushed myself to finish it if it wasn't so famous and recommended to me by various people. Catcher in the rye I found anything but dull, mostly because the book is so short and some places really talks to you.

Had to read it for school. Thought it was okay back then. Would've probably liked it more if I read it by choice. Actually, other than Chrysalids - which was great - it was the only book out of the 9 or so on the syllabus that I bothered to read.

The Giver was probably the only book I enjoyed reading that I was required to read in school.

Come on! It was only one movie...though I am extremely picky when it comes to movies but I still watch a lot.
