Kidding. Memoirs of a Geisha was a good read. There was one about a woman from the Middle East and the story of her life that I read that was particularly good but I cannot remember the name. If I find it I'll post it up.
I picked the correct day to read the older posts on this thread. Just saw the Kobo at RIK. Had never heard about it before so I thought it was something local but I should have known better. It seemed cool though. I would pick the Kindle however but that's probably because I have a Kindle, and though it's not touch screen or anything, (I bought quite a while ago) it works great and it's pretty user friendly etc. As soon as you get it make sure you get The Fever Series.
EDIT: I just saw that Corbeau uses Paypal. Kindle just went up a notch.

That is the one thing I did not ask which basically stemmed from jealousy that my Kindle is not touch screen and the Corbeau was. As tempting as it is to get a touch screen e-reader, it doesn't make sense because my e-reader works just fine I just check Amazon and it's roughly about TTD 974.00 and if you allow for the hiked up prices when they get here I would say roughly TTD 1,500.00.

I hear ya. There is always the Kindle without the touch screen on Amazon for USD 79.00 if ever you can afford it.
Anyway, at some point I had downloaded this (unfinished) series: http://www.luthielssong.com/ and when I finished reading it I added it to FB as is customary with books that I like. There was a LOTR-esque feel to it and really not a bad read at all. Anyway after reviewing it on the FB page the author who happened to be on said page contacted me and asked me if I would mind leaving the review on Amazon as well. I told him I didn't mind and he sent me an autographed copy of the two books. *Laughs* Well maybe it isn't exciting to you but it made my inner nerd happy. I also have the coolest Harry Potter books story but I will save that for another time.
