TBh i like to keep in shape but with the broken wrist i cant lift weights for a while, the cast came off today so gonna step up the jogging and go swimming till my wrist strength comes back then go back to my old routine
which means spending less time on my ass in here

I press something around 132 lbs. I don't know if that's considered much or not though. Working with weights bores the hell out of me TBH. But it does make you faster and stronger and all in all a better football player.

being "healthy" doesn't neccesarily mean being that strong. the majority of "healthy" people i know can't bench their own weight.

I used to be a bodybuilder

now, I try to use weight -training to improve my performance on the soccer pitch

I do a lot of core training...and I've never been stronger with the weights, or even on the field, since I've been doing that

also, core training helps me keep my size (with all the running that I do on the field, its easy to lose some mass), and helps me stay ripped.

I assume he meant if they were training normally. I used to bench 143lb, though that was for sets of ten reps. I didn't bother checking my one rep limit, mainly because I didn't have anyone to spot for me (I imagine trying to shift something you can't lift off of your chest is tricky.). I stopped training a couple of years ago after banjaxing my knee doing squats.
