At the end of the day the figc said to the clubs during the pandemic do whatever you want as long as its withing the rules, don't expect government financial aid just look after yourselves. Clubs in Italy literally depend on cooking the books to stay in existence

Piero Sandulli, former president of the Federal Court of Appeal, expressed his opinion on the penalty of 15 points in the standings imposed on Juventus.
WORDS – «For some time, like several other colleagues, I have been arguing that the container of companies listed on the stock exchange does not go well with sports clubs. And the current case of Juventus, once again, bears witness to it. In the sense that the revocation first and then the sentence were based on the elements that emerged during the investigations produced by Consob, which by definition can naturally supervise only the clubs present in Piazza Affari. In this regard, in all honesty, I would have expected some evolutions on the subject. I was confident that the recent sporting reform would deal with this issue, which at the moment remains a vulnus to the system. Hence the sanction against Juventus and the lack of sanction against all the other companies involved. I don't consider it a disparity, but a different treatment based on different previous choices. This condition, in fact, is accepted by the club when it enters the Stock Exchange. And in fact we arrived at the current sentence precisely on the basis of the Consob investigation, which led to the existence of unpublished facts compared to last April, when Juventus was acquitted".

According to 'TuttoSport', the very notable case of the corrected invoice by hand with the contested pen to Juventus wouldn't be an official document, but only a copy that wasn't part of the documentation. It was corrected to reissue it by Marseille with the correct data and then, once it became compliant, it was properly registered electronically as the procedures dictated for some time on this aspect.
