I am sure the Kangaroo judiciary will punish us.
Maybe some need to take it easy a bit, panicking and doom n gloom predictions are embarassing at this point. We got rid of the management that nuked our finances for years. Im pretty confident we get stronger out of this. Time will tell but nothing to overly preoccupy yourself with atm. A lot of media speculations but almost all pointing out Serie B is improbable and it doesnt give me vibe of 2006 either. We move on with hopefully competent people on board and continue the SL project.

Yet they were used in 2006.
Sporting trial is different. But you have the president of Italian federation coming out to calm people down. Its a positive sign.

Though you have to say that Agnelli allowed Paratici to remain sporting director for three years with all messy transfers and dealings it is good that Agnelli is finally gone and time for a new management.

What does the fine/punishment look like for these kind of cases? i remember Barca couldnt make any transfers for like 2 seasons right? will we get those type of punishments or will there be point deductions/relegations?

At this point it looks like Marotta was the only one well versed in financial side of the business. It is strange that Agnelli would allow this to go on for so long. As a director you dont see every shit people below you do, but you do sign off yearly statements. At the very least you would notice some irregularites, positions that stand out and then act. It shouldnt take you 3 years. As good as his intentions might have been, he seemed to be financially illiterate. His grandfather and uncle would never make those kind of mistakes. These guys were proffesional and ruthless.

Dude was too busy with dreaming of constructing something so useless as ESL.

Besides, he has always been revenue-obsessed, he probably thought the club would keep growing which would make up for the 'galactico' spending.

I disagree on ESL part. European football needs to move away from UEFA's monopoly, while the clubs still remaining in local leagues. What they have allowed over the last 10 years only increased disparity between the clubs.

In a sporting sense we haven't done anything wrong, the plusvalenze were all thrown out. The issue that is being investigated had to do with not disclosing the unpaid wages to the public and shareholders. Right now all of these shit media outlets are throwing in everything including a million old quotes from the closed plusvalenza cases.

Juventus generate clicks, that's all this is.
What you are saying is true but they will link it to a sporting advantage. This is as clear as it gets. We are getting punished it will be disgusting.

Maybe strategy to sign Ronaldo which put us under tremendous financial strain along with covid so whether Agnelli choose to ignore or was aware on the methods and transfer dealings by Paratici is hard to tell.

Barcelona bought a ton of underaged players coming from all places of the world which got them a transfer ban. Chelsea had the same violations along with third party influence (basically paying off agents or family members of the respective players to breach contracts). It were different cases.

Old budget 21/22
Loss of € 254.3 million
New budget 21/22
Loss of € 239.3
So a smaller loss of 15 million…

Old budget 20/21
Loss of € 209.9 million
New budget 20/21
Loss of € 226.8
So a larger loss of about € 16 million

Balance between the 2 years, a negative differential of about a million.Fuck the media and judiciary.
