its clear that we arent going for a CM who are better then what we already have. We are looking at having better depth. Pjanic is a class player, Khedira and Marchisio ( if fit and in form) will do a great job. Bentancur is a great talent and who ever will come will be better then Lemina and Rincon.

You clearly see things diffetent then Juventus. The players who is without doubt better then Khedira and CM8 is either not for sale or cost alot. I think we are looking at a transfer of 25-40 million euros. We need better depth, so im happy.

No one is without a doubt better than Marchisio, but then it depends on which version of CM8 we are gonna get.

It irks me to see people deploying this defeatist mentality of "we can't do better than Matuidi" "there aren't any available options on the market"

It's the management's job to identify targets, and I'm quite sure there must be at least 2-3 better options (possibly more expensive, but with more upside and much younger).

:yuck: :inter: Another stop gap solution a la Khedira. Zero upside to this purchase. We never fucking learn, do we? Pjanic and Bentancur are the only ones in our midfield (I don't consider Sturaro a footballer) with many years still left in them. Khedira is probably gonna fuck off to the US after the World Cup, and we have no clue what shape Marchisio will be in.

Juventus have reportedly stepped-up their pursuit of Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Blaise Matuidi.

The Bianconeri were close to completing a deal for the French international last summer, but PSG pulled the plug at the last minute.

The midfielder played just three minutes of last night’s win over Guingamp, and could be seen expressing his frustrations on the bench.

Now Gazzetta dello Sport is reporting that Juve have decided to focus their attentions on the 30-year-old, freezing negotiations for Kevin Strootman, Emre Can and Steven N’Zonzi.

The newspaper reports that there is optimism a deal can be done, with Matuidi likely to be valued around €20m.

Beppe said we said no for Tolisso because we play with 2 but now we get Matuidi and play with 3.
