Not officially, but kind of the same. He signed a private pre-deal with them, just like they did with many players in the past (hummels for example). The pre-deal is about him joining them next year.

Well, Most of his dips in form were blamed on his injur(y/ies), so i guess we'll see now.
But he certainly hasn't in a long run of form to deserve a starting place in quite a while now, IMO.
