Agreed. Of course, there are several great playmakers, but none of them is as good as Zizou. Why? Because no one has the exceptional ball control, technique, touch of class, vision, passing, shooting and dribbling ability at the same time. They may have other abilities, or might be better than Zizou in some cases, but still they remain worse.

I have just two problems with your points:

1. Michael Ballack has better ball control, technique, touch of class, vision, passing, shooting and dribbling ability then Zidane and he is bigger, stronger, a better finisher, a better free kick taker, and he heads better. Not to mention that he is faster.

2. Juan Sebestien Veron is just as good as Zidane in all of those ways that you mentioned.

I completely disagree with you. Ballack is a fine player, but his ball control, and dribbling ability is no where near Zidane's. Did you see Real vs Valencia few weeks ago? Lets not even talk about creativity. No contest, Zidane by a mile!! I have seen Bayern Munich play this year, and they have absolutely no creativity what so ever. Now, whats the one thing all of us Juve fans have been complaining about since Zizou left? Lack of creativity, vision, etc. There is no better playmaker today than Zidane.

That simply is not true. Zidane lacks in many areas. He is niether strong, nor fast. He has no ability with his head, his free-kicks are average, his shooting/finishing ability is questionable. He may have great vision, passing, and dribbling, but he doesn't have those skills more than some other players. Ballack is a better playmaker than Zidane.
