First of all: the gypseys in Hungary (like many other minorities) usually don't actually speak Hungarian amongst themselves. Secondly, we had someone with us who could understand what they were saying ;)

Oh btw I have a question: I met an American here the other day, claiming to be from the state of "Wisconsin", was he taking the piss with me or does that really exist? It sounds way too dodgy to be real...
Yeah it's real. Green Bay Packers (NFL Football), Ben and Jerry's ice cream, and the sausage race at the Milwalkee Brewers' baseball games.

My primary school never bothered to teach us the geography of other continents besides Europe in a very detailed manner. They taught us that the capital city of the USA is Washington DC and that New York city is on that same coast and Los Angels and San Francisco on the opposite one, but that's about it.

As for Asia, it went something like this: "Alright kids, this huge spot over here is China, the other one the Soviet Union and they are both E-V-I-L. That's all you need to know!"

Ah, the cold war... :touched::D
