So if Benedikt comes, and I know people don't like it, including me, but 3-5-2 will be played pretty often, Howedes-Rugani-Chiello is a back 3 thats at least as good as our BBC. The fact that we dont really have a proper RB to take over Licht, then I really dont mind seeing the 3-5-2 as long as we can still see Dybala doing his thing, perhaps a 3-4-1-2, with HD upfront and having Berna behind them, or 3-4-3 with Berna and Costa on the wings and Dybala playing false 9.

I really do feel Benedikt is a bargain but also a necessary player to have if we are to have more options in terms of tactics, It would have been a perfect world if we got Benedikt plus another proper attacking RB like Pereira + Keita.

True, but why cant it be? Howedes is an international starter and played for a World Cup winning team, and Rugani has shown that he can be up to task at a young age. Ok, maybe i am overrating him a bit here, but Rugani at this age is better than Bonucci in his early years with us, Chiello and Barza helped him so much when we used that back 3, and potentially Rugani can prove to be better with a back 3, Howedes is a great coup and is currently better than Barza.

So ok, my random statement is based on hope. How else would you like me to put it? lets put some stats, i use the one where all 4 play at least 30 games? so for me to say a random statement with these numbers, and say at least as good as BBC, I believe I am not far off..
