What annoys me is that Onyewu probably insulted Van Damme the entire game. But then Van Damme says something that could be qualified as racist and Onyewu's all shocked. It's like this in real life too. If you're black, brown or yellow, you can say pretty much everything to a white man. Doesn't matter if you call him a stupid monkey. But if he insults you, it's racism and you're in court. Things like these only make people less tolerant. Suck it up, Gooch.

Depends on the motive. People who've heard slurs on tv and just start using them without thinking about it I wouldn't call racist. That is to say the impact of their statements amounts to racism, but is ultimately not intended to be.
