True but I think the obsession over that is a good example of how low the standards are for them. When a good one comes out the fanboys try to proclaim it as the best movie ever because they're used to superhero movies being so shitty.

Ok, so i watched it last night..wanted to post right away but was having a long discussion with my friend whom I saw it with.
For me, as I had lowered my expectations, it was a good move from my side. Let's just put it this way, you will ask a lot of questions, on why this why that, why didnt Lois do this, why is Bats thinking like that of Supes, etc.
Let's move that all aside and just judge the movie overall. I loved The Dark Knight, I liked The Dark Knight rises because Im a huge fan of Hardy, but Batman Begins was better. So, for me, Bats vs Supes is up there on the same level of Dark Knight rises, I however enjoyed Affleck here more than Bale in Rises, Lex Luthor also was played nicely by Jesse, of course no way near Ledger.
The actions scenes, was awesome, not too many, but they were awesome! trust me, and even the critics who hate DC will still admit that Zack Snyder really does fighting scenes well, it reminds you of Batman Video Games, the way Bats uses his weapon and fights. Supes still could be acted better, but come on, he is a God amongst men, and trying to keep himself grounded, not much to be done here, limited from the character that is from the comics. The critics are really harsh when saying these 2 were really dull and the movie had so many boring dialogues, etc.
I felt the movie was not too long, and the tease to other characters were done nicely, not great, but it was ok.
So, watch the movie, in Imax, and lower your expectations, certainly better than MoS and dont listen to the critics, as they probably had too high of an expectation, the normal movie goers probably would when you have 2 icons facing each other and the wonder woman.
