I think we signed Sensi in synergy with Sassuolo and eventually sold our interests there. He was hyped a lot when he broke out in Serie B, but his size made everyone wary. Most (me included) didnt think his (very good) technique would be great enough to carry him in spite of his size in a top level midfield. We were wrong, he is great. I was sure that he would shine in a Conte system, wasn't sure he could do it for Mancini where there is more space and individual responsibility.

Barella is obvious. I guess the price scared us of but he really was a sure thing, cant even call him a "gamble". Perfect Matuidi replacement.
