and defenders too. I miss the days of Baresi, cannavaro, Nesta, Stam, etc... I think this is why i enjoy watching those 'legends' matches more than ever, now midfielders who can pass qualify as a defender these days. call me old fashioned but i miss good old one on one defending, how i wish i was alive to see the likes of Claudio Gentile

Really bad moment for Perin. I'm sorry for him.
But Immobile was great, what a hatrick what was that movings, wow. Balo will has a strong competition with him and that will be good for both.

Italy's defence is worrying, but I wouldn't chalk this game down as a game were Italy's full defence (and GK) are to blame. Absolutely makeshift and inexperienced.

Nice to see Insigne and Immobile perform well. More options upfront for when Balotelli inevitably fucks up.

Ofcourse. Horrible move not keeping him and bringing him to Juve. Just horrible. And now we're on the market for a striker lolololol. Just bad business.

I love our young guys. I love how close they are and the friendships and bonds that are forming. A close team plays not to let his brothers down. It's the best atmosphere to go into this wc !!

This performance might shed some light as to why Insigne was brought instead of Rossi, it's possible Prandelli saw in training what a great partnership he has with Immobile and didn't want to regret not having it as an option.
