Best thing about this is everybody in Europe suddenly is awake to what great a player Pirlo is, and that there are 6 Juventus players in this Italy team. We are respected and admired again because of this.

Even the Swedes man, it is really strange. I have been here for almost 9 years and never ever heard a compliment for Italy.
Same over here. Even after that brilliant performance against Germany in 2006, people still supported France. Perhaps it's because they play a more vibrant sort of posession football compared to the Spanish.

I am not talking about the people only, the media usually talk crap about Italian football. Only one or two experts on TV speak well of them.

Prandelli indeed

Has Montolivo playing his best football, Cassano and Balotelli are sane. Balzaretti as a right back ffs. I seem to remember him being slated on here not so long ago.

I don't like having to play Spain. They did us a huge favour in the group stages and we were pretty lucky tonight. Ppl are saying Pirlo did a handball on the line (should be red). The one angle i saw didn't look it?
Anyway, those little things make me think Italy have used up their favours to get this far and we won't win. Shame but we've had a great tournament and it won't feel so bad if we lose (unlike 94,00).

I dun like Spain becuz of their whining and play acting over every little fouls. Especially that Busquet and Fabregas. Spain will try to get Balotelli red-carded.
