Maggio and Abate could come forward on attacks as wingers and have Motta and DeRossi stay back to help out the defense when they are up. Miccoli and Balotelli I feel are our most dangerous players supported by Monto and Pirlo could do some damage up front.

Is that what you think it's italy's best starting eleven or is it just an indie approach to the italian NT? I don't like it at all tbh.

They should give Pirlo a run on the left and DDR central... because against a Germany/Holland, they will have an Ozil/Shneider to run through him.
And has Abate ever done anything in attack? He gets there alot but has no clue what to do there. Defensively he is strong though.
Marchisio is clearly our best bx2bx and should start.
