France should win this one. It's hard to predict how Italy will do, normally when all looks lost we pull something out of our asses. However losing Marchisio and Verratti is massive, we go from having a stellar defence and very solid midfield to now having a pretty woeful midfield to add to the mediocre attack. Jorginho will need to have a big tournament if we are to expect anything, De Rossi as well. Conte will get the most out of everyone though so if players stand up in the midfield and attack we can go far. You'd need Insigne, El Sha and Zaza firing on top of that. Bernardeschi will be the pleasant surprise IMO.

Yeah, my money would be on France as well. Though I guess Germany are always favourites as well.

As for Italy, they tend to do really well when you least expect it, but their midfield is really shocking. Makes their attack look fairly decent in comparison.

:agree:

No Zouma,Sakho and Varane

Koscielny and Mangala is their best pairing now.Rami and Mathieu as cover(lol)
What happend to Varane? Sakho is a doper and not good enough, and Zouma hadnt played in a while and been injury prone, so no big losses there, but Varane is for sure. Deschamps should call Laporte and Umtiti, instead of accidently trying to call the Senegalese Koulibaly

Zouma is a fantastic prospect too, I even forgot Umtiti who also deserves to be in a top team.

The caught in doping test one is Sakho, been around ages but still just 25.
