Just....... read.

Italy - Croatia 1 - 1

In a tense match that ended in a draw there were two big surprises. First, nowhere in the stands have not seen naked Croatian cheerleaders and secondly, no fan tried to kiss the mouth of coach Slaven Bilic, despite the favorable result that his team has achieved.

The leading goal for the Italians scored an experienced Andrea Pirlo. Otherwise, in the village from which Pirlo originates, elderly gentleman living, herbalist by profession, who has a 96 percent success in treating varicose veins using the tea. Do not forget before the end of the first half to note that the gentleman in his spare time writing poetry.

Continuation of the game he took another picture because when Mandzukic tied the result, hit the crossbar into the Buffon's goal, who, I have this to share with you, has a niece who recently won a scholarship to Harvard, but still rethink whether to go for for several years in connection with her boyfriend from her town and she does not really believe in these relationships at a distance, a friend advised her to try, guy feels sorry, he doesn't want to slow her career, but we'll talk about that later.

hahaha !! Funny as hell but actually more accurate than anything ESPN could write about the sport.

For some reason I dont see spain settling for a tie because if croatia win and we win that would put them out no? Im more worried about the fact that trapattoni is going to $#@! us over and make his team play the game of their lives.
Trap should give us a hand and experiment with his bench and some crazy formation like 2/2/6

Prandelli suggesting he's going to make 3-4 changes. My guesses are, Barzagli will return to D, DeRossi to midfield, Motta to be dropped, and at a pinch DiNatale will be favoured over Balo or Cassano. The fourth change would perhaps be dropping Giacch for Balza.

Agree with Ahmed, should've made room for Pepe. He was going to be a much better fit than Maggio in current set-up.. tho I too didn't expect Maggio to be this shit either.

Since when has Pepe had a single good performance as a wingback? (and Prandelli wasnt planning on this formation). Maggio looks out of sorts a bit, but he is in the squad because he is the best wingback in Serie A, not just out of italians.

Maggio has been poor but Abate is the epitome of mediocrity, he hasn't launched a single successful cross in Serie A this season. He's the blond Molinaro.

I prefer an out of form Maggio over Abate any day of the week.

true, was poor v Croatia but thought he was pretty decent in the first game.
Exactly. And his workrate is immense to be honest. Maggio's far better than most people on here realise. It's difficult for Maggio to play well against offensive fullbacks anyway. It takes a huge toll on him.

I don't hate Maggio.. but he's having an awful tournament so far tbh and like I said I didn't expect it as well, but you'd drop him at this stage after his shit performances. The core of the team is Juventus as usual. the change of system is because of that obviously and to answer your question same reason Giacch is playing LWB atm.

Still I forgot about Abate, expect him to start the next match.
