A Russian tsar stole our concept after we defeated the Spanish oppressor, can you believe that? They have the colours mixed up though. Theirs is White-Red-Blue from top to bottom I believe...

They then forced other Slavic countries to use 'our' concept as well which is why countries like Serbia have the same flag like Russia etc. - that is quite confusing indeed...
