Don't wanna harp on about it
but just no to the Cuadrado purchase. If we stick with Allegri, Marotta may as well buy players that fit into his system.
Cuadrado's arrival has made the attack dysfunctional and predictable. Either use that money on a better CM (someone better than Khedira) or an actual second striker that can back up Dybala to compliment a big purchase on an attacking mid.
Finally someone who see the same thing I do
Cuadrado is a great individual player but the problem is he is the player you want when your team doesnt perform or when you lack quality! When you got quality you better stay away from him or tell him to change his game!
He is very predictable! When he wants to go past a player he goes to a dribbling mode and its very easy to see this change (less easy to stop him in a 1 on 1 situation) which is why no one is letting him go in those situations without proper backup behind those players who guard him!
Berardi instead of Cuadrado will be amazing! he is young creative great dribbler and also has an eye for goal!
Someone here talked about Calhangulu or whatever his name is... Its actually a good idea but I`m not sure Allegri is the man to lead this kind of idea as he is a coach for a team that plays through the middle! Berardi on the right Calhan on the left means wingers/inside forwards which mean spreading the play also to the wings if not mainly!
The best thing we could do is splash the money on Verratti to create a Pogba Verratti partnership purchase Berardi and a LW (still yet to decide who fits there) and play 4-2-2-2 with two attacking midfielders on the sides which could also become a 4-3-3 with Marchisio or Khedira in and also a 4-3-1-2 with Berardi playing wide
It would cost a lot and we will surely need to be at a loss for one or two summers but it will also be a move which can take us to fight toe to toe with the Giants for years not to mention ruling Serie A a thing that shouldnt have been difficult to begin with!
Verratti 75M (could be reduced with Licht insertion - wouldnt want him gone but Verratti would be such a great move to justify it)
Berardi 25M
LW 35M - could also use a 4-3-3 formation and forget about the LW thing
overall 100M-135M
Lets say we go for 4-3-3 so 100M - add promising youngsters and remove young players 0$ remove some deadwood 15M we will probably get a defender or something like that but I think we will sell Asamoah as the time goes by so also 15M to make it 0$. Coman sale should fetch around 20M
overall spent 80M to be paid in 2 years meaning 40M a year which could be covered by merchandise sales tickets and reaching high in the CL. In the 3rd year we should go for talented cheap players who can make the breakthrough!
which means if we play our cards right 90M over 3 years meaning 30M a year which isnt that high if you consider all the income that we could get
Another option is to still look for good players and hope that they become good meanwhile we get forward or not in the CL while I guess we will win the scudetto again in 2 or 3 years as Serie A doesnt have that much of a quality sides
