The only way Lukaku to Juve can be plausible is if we already got contacted by Real Madrid regarding their intention to get Morata back.

Financially, I believe we cannot sign Lukaku without selling big again.

We should go for Götze again. He's clearly not appreciated by Guardiola and we have bought players for 4312 without having a good enough CAM.
Also, we need to resolve Cuadrado's situation. If we don't sign him this winter we'll have a bidding war by July and lose him. If we don't plan to sign him in January we must look for a CAM like Götze. He should be in our financial reach given how little he's played in Bayern.

Priorities this winter:

1. Cuadrado
2. CAM. (Götze)
3. Right back. (Vrsaljko)
4. Creative CM.

Looks more like a summer plan apart from Cuadrado. Can only see us get Lavezzi realistically and maybe, a cheap versatile CM.
Sure, it doesn't look like us with big winter spendings, but since we already made Götze a summer-long target, we should look to him again.

Lavezzi would be a very meh transfer IMO.

Being linked to Graziano Pellè in the Mirror and Sun, seems like baseless rumours.
I really like the player, but a striker is not the need. Sign a creative player, and then think about Pelle. I would take Pelle btw, he is one of the best in England at hold up play and making room for other attackers.

As for all these rumours, maybe Agnelli throwing out some ideas, but as soon as he delegates to Marotta, you know you're getting Giaccherini or Brienza.

Regain should only be on loan.

Give Rugani the rest of the season at Sassuolo as makeweight for Vrsaljko the other way.

Saponara a desperate attempt to snap up anything remotely creative with an Italian passport?

I actually like Saponara, he is continuing his great form this season too.
While for Lukaku I see him as Mandzukic replacement.

More links to Lukaku for a stupid amount of money.
Its going to be funny when Bebbe starts the bidding at 13 mio. plus 4 mio. in bonuses, then wait all summer to raise the bonuses by 2 mio. Then Panic buy Floccari for 13 mio. giving him a 5 year contract worth 3 mio. a year on 31 august.

You all know it is going to happen.

Saponara is okay. Let's give him a chance. But is he an upgrade to Pereyra? Even Hernanes?

Lukaku would be great. I like him. Expensive summer signing if anything. We need to decide on a formation as well. We don't have cash to invest in two formations. Either you buy wingers or strikers..

Selling Rugani 6 months after signing him. I can't believe Marotta would even contemplate it. Buying all these stop gaps is all well and good until summer comes around and we've got a surplus of mediocrity that needs moving on. We might actually need Rugani at some point, but what will Allegri do with Saponara, Pereyra and Hernanes?

Lavezzi is an undesirable signing for the long term but having him and Saponara means we can play a 4-3-3 or 4-3-1-2 without starting players out of position. I still wouldn't want to hold onto him or Cuadrado next season though. It's better to play one system 4-3-1-2 with less numerous, higher quality players than two systems with lots of mediocre players available. Get Saponara and Banega and sell Hernanes and Zaza and be done with it.
