I know this is extremely late and way off-topic, but I have to state that the Bahraini national team that played in the Asian Cup 2004 had no professional players in their squad.

But still managed to get to the semi finals and lose to the eventual winners Japan 4-3 after extra-time.

I think they deserve the upmost respect for doing that alone.

    i dont think because SA is the foot ball leaders in the middle east

    they won Asian cup 3 times

    from reaching the final from 1984 until 2000

    they meet Brazil more than one time

    play againist Argantina

    Englan

    USA

    OUR in 97 and we lost 0/1 :D

    Mexico

    etc...


    but to tell u the truth Oman plays good now adays they reach the final in the Gulf cup

    and the same players was in Oman under 17 in the world cup in Ecuadour in 1997 and reach the semi final
