Juve: UCUP 76, UCL 84, UCUP 89, UCUP 92, UCL95
Bayern: UCL 73, UCL 74, UCL 75, UCUP 95, UCL 2000, UCL 2012
UCL73 (Bayern's) >> UCUP 76 (Juve) +2 Bayern
UCL 84 (Juve's) > UCL 74 (Bayern's) +1 Juve
UCL 75 (Bayern's) > UCUP 89 (Juve) +1 Bayern
UCUP 92 (Juve) = UCUP 95 (Bayern) 0
UCL 95 (Juve) = UCL 2000 (Bayern) 0
UCL 2012 (Bayern) >>> Nothing (Juve). +3 Bayern
Both have 2 intercontintental cups and Bayern also has a club world cup so +1 Bayern.
So its 7:1. They have a much better record outside of Italy. Juve has always focused more and prioritized Serie A. As a result we have one of the worst european records amongst the big teams. (When Inter have a better record that means you are doing something wrong in Europe).
Barca (5 CL titles when it was the biggest trophy by far and still counting), Liverpool (5 CL titles across different periods and 3 Uefa Cups back when it mattered), Inter (3 CL and 3 Uefa Cups), Milan and Madrid obviously have done a lot better.
Only United have a modest record like ours. For a side that has had so many great players and coaches and did so much for the second most succesful national team, we should definitely be up there with Milan and Madrid in terms of the European record. No other teams apart from these two could rival us in terms of great players across history.
