Do you ignore all facts that don't support your argument? Juve have more overall European trophies than Bayern. Bayern has 3 more CL titles. Hence the reason I still give the edge to Bayern in Europe, but it's not a case of "much better"... Even if you don't value other European titles they were quite valued in the past, as 2nd place team from previous year participated in UEFA cup in the past. The CL wasn't always so bloated.

For reference, the 2 teams everyone refers to as so unbeatable Bayern 12/13 and Barca 14/15 wouldn't have even qualified for CL before the mid-90s. The second place team played UEFA cup. So yeah, that trophy was damn valuable when we were winning it in the 80s and early 90s.

So sure Bayern's record is a bit better in Europe, but saying far better is ridiculous.

Juve: UCUP 76, UCL 84, UCUP 89, UCUP 92, UCL95
Bayern: UCL 73, UCL 74, UCL 75, UCUP 95, UCL 2000, UCL 2012

UCL73 (Bayern's) >> UCUP 76 (Juve) +2 Bayern
UCL 84 (Juve's) > UCL 74 (Bayern's) +1 Juve
UCL 75 (Bayern's) > UCUP 89 (Juve) +1 Bayern
UCUP 92 (Juve) = UCUP 95 (Bayern) 0
UCL 95 (Juve) = UCL 2000 (Bayern) 0
UCL 2012 (Bayern) >>> Nothing (Juve). +3 Bayern

Both have 2 intercontintental cups and Bayern also has a club world cup so +1 Bayern.
So its 7:1. They have a much better record outside of Italy. Juve has always focused more and prioritized Serie A. As a result we have one of the worst european records amongst the big teams. (When Inter have a better record that means you are doing something wrong in Europe).

Barca (5 CL titles when it was the biggest trophy by far and still counting), Liverpool (5 CL titles across different periods and 3 Uefa Cups back when it mattered), Inter (3 CL and 3 Uefa Cups), Milan and Madrid obviously have done a lot better.

Only United have a modest record like ours. For a side that has had so many great players and coaches and did so much for the second most succesful national team, we should definitely be up there with Milan and Madrid in terms of the European record. No other teams apart from these two could rival us in terms of great players across history.

You really are an appalling Juventus fan. You take objectivity to the point of absurdity and underrate everything Juve and overrate everything (players, trophies, records) of other teams.

That 7:1 junk is just outright stupid. Who would even compare like that

The only difference between Bayern and Juventus in Europe is 3 CL trophies. 5>2... Over 60 years of CL play. 3 more CL trophies. 2 less UEFA cups. The two biggest European trophies. And yes, UEFA cup was a huge trophy back when we were winning it. You had teams 2-5 in Serie A playing in it. Only 1 team played in CL. 2-5 played UEFA Cup. Brutal competition back in that era. 4 top teams from Bundes, BPL, La Liga, Serie A...

Huge trophy. It's only fans who really are product of the modern era bloated CL (and shit Europa League) that don't understand the huge value of that trophy in 70s, 80s, early 90s. Ignorance at its finest.

SO yeah. Bayern's 5 CL trump Juventus' 2 significantly... But Juve's 3 UEFA cups to Bayern's 1 closes that gap a lot, and makes it so Bayern has a slightly better European history than us. Not some major advantage.

Same deal with Barca, but even less so an advantage. 5 CL + 0 UEFA Cups. As opposed to our 2 CL + 3 UEFA Cups.

Liverpool actually has a significant advantage in European history with 5 CL and 3 UEFA cups. I always forget about them. Madrid, Milan, Liverpool. That's it.

God, listening to a Juve fan argue for this nonsense is gross. I feel like I'm hearing the arguments of an Inter fan :inter:

Why are all your years inaccurate?

He's also being absurd. WTF is this head-to-head thing where he gets 7-1. It's a retarded way to compare it. It's pretty obvious Bayern have a better European record, no one is even arguing that, we all acknowledge it, but saying it's majorly better is hilarious. It's slightly better.

I actually enjoy discussing things with Hist in general, but I'm done with this now.

If he wants to be that Juve fan that spends his time singing the praises of other teams' players, and other clubs histories, while constantly downplaying and underrating our history and our players so be it... but that's quite disgusting tbh.

Juve win over City > Bayerns over Arsenal + 4 points Juve
Juve win over Empoli > Bayerns win over Augsburg + 2 points Juve
Dolph eating a Cannoli in my Dybala shirt > Beckenbauer eating saurkrat + 8 points Juve

So thats 14 - 0 in Juves favour. Clearly we have a much richer history than Bayern

Is Hist saying Bayern's history > ours? lol

Serie A's popularity and competitiveness in the 80s and 90s alone or the fact that we dominated the domestic scene for longer makes our history better. We've been one of the best teams domestically for a century. Bayern weren't in the scene before late 60s.
