Because Pereyra showed signs of being very good, got his international debut, and his fee wasn't insane. Depth is depth. And it's not like we won't have enough fixtures to get him starts.

After all that Pereyra showed, why would we not sign him? Even if we knew we were going to sign a AM? I mean, he is probably our only good backup at AM at this point. Sturaro, Asamoah to cover the midfield positions. Pereyra too, to a degree. But we still need cover for AM.

Depth.
Our great depth was the main reason for fantastic campaign last season. Vidal was hit and miss for most of the season, Pogba was injured at the crucial part of the year, but fortunately we had players like Sturaro and Pereyra to cover for them and they made important impact when it mattered.

Not so funny or entertaining. Why you don't show his crucial goals and passes for us instead.?when Just mention one time he didn't gave his soul for us on the pitch.Just one?Yes he was fighting in a club(maybe exagerated )drunk ,so?He spit blood for us during this 4 years.Yes he wasn't the old Arturo last year but at least we can show a little respect for him.He "was" so drunk that he won the Copa America with Chile. This is bullshit.Little respect that's all.

14 mil for a bench player? And if he don't play regular you think that he will show the same form he shows last year. With this I mean good form?

Yes, 14m for a bench player who will get 15-20 starts, subs in the CL and has great promise. We've paid 14m for a bench player before.

And not just any bench player but one who has shown promise to grow and develop, already fits well in our squad, fills a role needed on our bench for depth reasons as well as starts to maintain our starting AM's fitness. Is this shocking?

This isn't 2011 Juve. This is 2015 Juve. Where we are buying talent that we need to be strong across all competitions. Not Conte's JUVE where the same starting 11 play 50-60 matches across 3 competitions and are dead by the Knockout stages of the CL.

I know that there are more than 1000 videos on You Tube about his skills .I have a list of my favourites.
Nobody said that this is the end of the world. No player is bigger than Juve.Okay you assume that this video of yours is a joke (which is) I am just saying that he gave all of himself on the pitch to deserve jokes like this for one incident. All other players are saints.Even if he crashed 10 times that fucking Ferarri I will only rate him for his efforts given for us on the field.Just remember when we play Chelsea at London 2-2 before couple of years. He played more than 35 minutes injured barely walking and scored for us meanwhile. But that was before he start drinking.I am not pissed at all with your video as I say.

Vidal for 40mil could be Marotta's best sale business ever!
It is the right moment to sell, Vidal gave his all with us, but he obviously has closed his corcle and would benefit a new challenge. He was one of the main contributors for our 3 consecutive titles amd now we can win without him.
As other forumers have pointed out, we could better keep Pogba instead, as he is young enough, his price could grow and we will have plenty of opportunities to sell, yet we wont be able to collect more from Vidal in the future, a champion, a CL finalist and a copa America winner, it is very best moment to sell him!
This year we are on spending galore, next year we wont and it will be harder to replace him.

You don't answer will he retain the same form by randomly entering the game for 15 minutes?

Well, I couldn't answer your question because it was predicated on a small question and therefore a flawed question.

If you honestly think, this entire coming campaign, Pereyra is only going to be a sub for the final 15 minutes of games, you are not thinking realistically.

Your question is flawed because Pereyra won't be used exclusively as sub for the final 15 minutes of games. He will almost assuredly get 15-20 starts spread out across the various competitions we have to compete in. He will also be the first AM off the bench for us, the second CM of the bench for us, the first midfield option off the bench when we want to be more attacking. He will get more time this coming season than he did last season. Also, he will benefit from having a full year with us, being knowledgeable of the system, and continuing to learn from our core players.

So, do I think Pereyra will retain the same form by randomly starting 15-20 matches for us meanwhile getting 15-25 minutes minimum as a sub for another 15-20 matches?

Yes, I do.
