Your question is flawed because Pereyra won't be used exclusively as sub for the final 15 minutes of games. He will almost assuredly get 15-20 starts spread out across the various competitions we have to compete in. He will also be the first AM off the bench for us, the second CM of the bench for us, the first midfield option off the bench when we want to be more attacking. He will get more time this coming season than he did last season. Also, he will benefit from having a full year with us, being knowledgeable of the system, and continuing to learn from our core players.
So, do I think Pereyra will retain the same form by randomly starting 15-20 matches for us meanwhile getting 15-25 minutes minimum as a sub for another 15-20 matches?
