The delusion is strong in that one. Did he just cite the Euro/Pound conversion as a factor? Seriously? And we're not going to be "haggling" with anybody for this player.

The best box-to-box midfielder in the world, a total professional, the pride and joy of Juventus and her fans, our crown jewel... we're going to "haggle"? And in that process accept less than 40M?

Vidal's going to want to go to a rebuilding squad in Manchester? Over Madrid, Barcelona, Paris, or London? What? Good luck with that, the player and his family are happy where they are.

Seriously, any potential buyers that show up with less than 80M cash on their person will be forced to tongue Beppe's brown eye.

Aren't you a little irritated that no official statement from Juve has been released saying that Vidal is not for sale? Wouldn't that have been an easy thing to do by now?
I'm glad that our mgt doesn't have the need to reiterate every week that our top players are not for sale. Beppe said it after the season ended and when the transfer campaign started, no need to repeat the obvious. If this guy goes, it will be for a shitload of money. Check our previous dealings mate, and see how many of our top players have we sold over the years.

How do you know he's more in demand? How many other clubs have been openly in for Vidal? Barca and PSG were courting David Luiz a long time ago.

Yeah, and Bayern et. al were after Arturo before he transferred to us from Levekusen several years ago? Talk to any reasonably knowledgable football fan, they ALL cream for Vidal. The man is a game changer, he's hugely influential. He would walk into ANY team in the world.

I know he's more in demand then David Luiz because I have eyes, and one player we're talking about is Arturo Vidal, while the other player is David Luiz. :p

Juventus have actually stated many times that he's not for sale and that we're not a selling team. Di Marzio has many times said there is nothing in the Vidal to United rumours. So that is that.

The only time we were open to selling a player is when our president Agnelli hinted that he could sell Pogba and he was right because the talks about him is that he'd go for something like 80 or 90m which is an absurd amount of money that a financially disciplined team like Juventus can't neglect.

Vidal is right at his peak and our coaches favorite player, you'd be crazy if you think you could get him for something like 40m. Marotta will take away every damn pound you have before giving him away to you to the point where you'd ask yourself if its even worth it.

How many times would you like it to be said?

Maybe not every week but no one from Juve has said anything in the last few weeks. It would have been easy to release a simple statement that he's not for sale like United did with Rooney last summer. But no. All quiet.

No wonder United fans are hoping there might be something to these rumours.

That last quote is revealing. 'We want to keep our players as long as they want to stay'.

So there's a way out for Vidal if he wants to take it.

I just wanted to find out what makes everyone here so sure Vidal wouldn't move.
Well of course, no point in keeping someone against there will like those supremacists over in Bilbao.

And what makes us so sure is that both the club and the player have stated numerous times that (1) Vidal isn't for sale and (2) he is very happy here. Beyond that, we are the strongest club in Italy with a good core of players looking to push farther into the Champions League (which, currently, Manchester United cannot even offer players). We have an ambitious, intelligent board that makes the most of what we have and are continuing to slowly but steadily grow back to pre-Calciopoli status.

Now, what makes everyone so sure that Vidal will move there?
