where were marrone, padoin and isla?
Padoin was in position, marking Konko. Isla was playing on the other side of the pitch. Marrone closed down the player (Hernanes I think) who passed it to Ledesma (who then played it over the top to Gonzalez). He maybe should've gotten a tackle in but at least he closed him down. Vidal gave Ledesma way too much time and space to play the ball over the top.

Giaccerini is also at fault for the goal IMO. He didn't even seem to notice Gonzalez running away from him and into the box unmarked. Midfielders have to track runs from the opposition's midfield. Then of course Peluso should have made at least some attempt to jump for the ball. He should also have been alert to Gonzalez arriving into the box behind him, but you can see that he was looking at the run of Mauri (who Bonucci completely lost by the way. Mauri was wide open in the middle of the box).

A fuck up all round really, but I blame Giaccherini the most. He had to either track Gonzalez's run or at least give Peluso a shout that he was making the run.

I think going by the way Gonzalez ran, Peluso should have known about where he was. He turns his head round quite far as Ledesma shapes up to make the pass. Gotta pin more blame on Peluso in this case anyway imo, if in doubt you make sure the ball doesn't fall in an area inside the 6 yard box, and he should have known there was at least one player behind him. Going by the way he gave up he either had bad awareness or lack of effort.

To be fair it was a nice little movement with 5 Lazio players making different runs from the edge of the penalty area.
