If the management actually do sell Vidal, and replace him with fucking Poli, then that is absolute madness. Why regress? We are supposed to keep moving forward.
Acknowledging that this is obviously press talk, what would you be happier with;

- current team + Llorente

or

- Vidal sold, top striker in, Pogba-Marchisio-Pirlo-Poli-Marrone

?

The question is would we really bring in a top striker? or just thrash it out on overpaying for the likes of Icardi and belfodil? the problem for me still lies with our inability to release the high earning dead wood from our team that is restricting us financially, certainly on the wages.

Either way Vidal Must stay! we have no direct replacement for him and it would be stupid to sell him only to leave a void in his place to plug up our other void(s)

I think it would be a disgrace if we were to sell Vidal for the sort of fee he is worth on the market and then not be able to buy a top striker. That option has to be open.

It would probably be more likely that Marotta would move for Nainggolan and then split the difference up front.

Not that it really matters, as Vidal shouldn't be going anywhere.

How compatible do you guys find Vidal and Poli?

"Canale Juve" has the idea that Poli will be brought in because the club plans to sell Vidal in the summer in order to raise funds for a top player, most likely Jovetic:

Poli can work hard, definitely, but he's still no "guerrero" like Vidal in my opinion. He also seems like a player with a much more calm temperament, who likes to sit back more and pass the ball and not run as much.
So we want to replace our only bite in the mf with another weak player? More of Marotta's genius.

We should get Nainggolan as backup to Vidal, not replace Vidal with Nainggolan.

knowing marotta he would use that split to bring someone like belfodil, so say he sold Vidal ( a world class player in the making) for someone like nainggolan who is ok, by no means will ever be close to what Vidal can become. In another words sell 1 top player for 2 average/good ones and that is not how we should be operating

Ideally, but you can only go far in terms of backup quality. I don't imagine Nainggolan would be happy playing as much as a young player like Pogba, or a squad player like Giaccherini. Likewise if you split Vidal and Nainggolan. Eventually players end up leaving, Madrid do it often and turn players over.

Wouldn't it be great if he actually sold Vidal though?

There'd finally be a real reason to bitch & complain.
There are other reasons to bitch and complain. Let's not go there ;)

Are you always this righteous? :D

Do you enjoy being objective and exhibiting zero emotion all the time? It must be tough being so robotic :p

I wouldn't be happy with either scenario, but I'm traditionally and notoriously hard to please :D

Ideally, we should be investing heavily in that SS position (considering other areas of the pitch are pretty much covered, and need only minor tweaking), as with Llorente and a high quality SS next to him, and Vucinic, Quag, and one of our youngsters coming off the bench, I'd say our attack is set.
